The Best of the Ladies Aid Society

What did your Grandmothers really cook? This is where you find out! We explore the recipes they were proud of and shared with their Ladies Aid societies, clubs and church groups. These recipes are what were taken to pot-lucks and mid-week brunches. Some things may surprise you as being popular but these recipes were things that our Grandmothers felt like they needed to share. Now I share them with you!

Home Ec 101

Don't get me started on what they don't teach in schools anymore! I graduated in Home Economics Education and taught in the public school system for a few years until adventures took me to other paths.

I have used what I learned at university everyday! It is a passion of mine to teach basic life skills to those who really want to know. I am surprised when people only can live on eating out and don't know how to do the easiest things like laundry.

This is a place for your questions on how to make your space a home.

My Chloe Kitty

How can you have a site and not have cat videos! My cat is Chloe Kitty. She is 3 years old and a stunner. She lets me sleep near her and she protects the house when I am not around. I love her! I hope you do too!
